平埔番祖廟是南投縣唯一的平埔族群（噶哈巫族）廟宇，供奉番太祖等神明。
該廟的建立源於番太祖在過去的傳說中顯靈，拯救族人免於危險，並在2015年建成。番太祖的形象結合了平埔文化和漢文化的元素，番太祖耳朵上的耳環和手拿番刀和長矛的造型也是非常有特色，並成為當地居民的信仰中心。
Pingpu Fanzu Temple is the only temple of the Pingpu ethnic group (Gahawu tribe) in Nantou County, worshiping Fan Taizu and other gods. The temple was built after Fan Taizu appeared in legends in the past and saved his people from danger. It was completed in 2015. The image of Fan Taizu combines elements of Pingpu culture and Han culture. The earrings on Fan Taizu’s ears and the shape of Fan Taizu holding a fan knife and spear are also very distinctive, and have become the center of belief for local residents.
